Since ShriSadguruSevaSangh Trust and SadguruSikshaSamiti are located in rural locality, it is obvious to have students from families which are down trodden and of economically weaker background. to Educate Such Child, ShriArvind Mafatlal Foundation, Mumbai has initiated the scholarship scheme in all schools working under flagship of Sadguru trust and SadguruShikshasamiti at both places, Chitrakoot &Anandpur. The Scheme was first introduced in Year 2012-13 by honorable chairman of Trust ShriVishadbhai Mafatlal in loving memory of his grandfather and ex-chairman of trust Late ShriArvindbhai N. Mafatlal. The idea behind starting the scheme was to educate the deserving children who are willing to acquire education but are helpless due to incapability of their families to pay for them.

Late ShriArvindbhai Mafatlal was of the opinion that education held key to overcoming social and economic inequalities and other retardants to attainment of full potential of a person, spiritual as well as material. As per their wish it is proposed to consider grant of financial assistance to the talented student from amongst middle and lower middle classes.

Under this scheme, the students studying in various educational institutions (upwards of primary schools) promoted by and functioning under the aegis of ShriSadguruSevaSangh Trust will be covered.

The Present Thinking On The Subject Is As Follows:-

• Five students will be selected from each class among whom three of the Students who secure first to third positions and remaining two will from the children of staff serving various institutes and departments aided by the trust.
• The Examinations conducted for the admission to the entry level class e.g. VI class in Higher Secondary School.
• The annual examination of class VI to XI conducted for promotion to the next higher class in the institution aided or promoted by the Trust, will not be charged any tuition or course fee, which shall be-reimbursed in full to such institution by way of grant.
• Such students will also be reimbursed the expenditure incurred by such. Institution on providing books and uniforms besides the fee for bus facility to such students.
• If an awardee of the free ship does not retain his rank in any subsequent year, he will lose the free ship, which will then pass on to the student who takes the losers place.
• A constituted Committee consisting of the nominated persons shall be constituted for each educational institution to draw out the list of the students eligible for grant of free ship.
